With the residual effects of post-concussion syndrome gripping his mind, Chris Nine emerged. With this newly fragmented identity Chris Nine approached his guitar, his sound, and life through a different lens and with new drive and purpose. By navigating this mental fog and confronting the shadows of his past that “the Rage” was conceived.

Chris Nine uncovers past relationships and trauma through the lens of impartial justice in “the Rage”. With this approach Chris Nine’s unique perspective on rock and punk sounds openly paints a picture, while accepting judgment for his past. Under the influence of the bold bands such as Paramore, Rise Against and Machine Gun Kelly wild relentless nature of “the Rage” was crafted; music blasted on long car rides meant to unravel the threads of ones past.

Angst-driven Chris Nine relentlessly delves straight into the mind shattering implications of love and the kaleidoscope of expectation. Chris Nine writes music in hopes of uncovering underlying truth, healing oneself through acceptance, resiliency and rebirth.
